BobbyBobby was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and grew up listening to Country & Western music. In 1990 he moved to Toronto and attended his first country line dancing lesson at Badlands in 1991. His passion for line dancing grew as he learned to execute the various sequence of steps involved with the numerous choreographies of dances whether it was a line, circle, opposing lines or typical "follow the leader" fashion.

In 1992 he was wasked to join the Lone Rider dance team under the direction of Glenn Small performing at a variety events and attending circuit hoedowns throughout Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati. This diverse group of men and women demonstrated line dancing choreographies throughout Canada & USA and were also invited on stage to perform at the 1994 Country Heat Jamboree held in Flamborough alongside stars such as Faith Hill & Sweethearts of the Rodeo.

In 1993 & 1994, he competed with Lone Rider at the Cincinnati Stompers Jamboree placing 3rd overall for Group Line Dancing Formation and achieving 2nd place in East Coast Swing & Two Step in the couples divisions. He also played a key role on the organizing committee for the 1994 Toronto Fall Round-Up which raised funds for various charitable organizations throughout the community. Later on he joined C.C. Wranglers dance team for a short period which was renamed as the Toronto Wranglers. In 1999, Toronto hosted the Big City Hoedown for the 6th annual IAGLCWDC Convention with guest star Scooter Lee. This opened the doors to another level of line dancing attending many of the IAGLCWDC conventions which he continues to do so today.

Bobby's teaching experience began on the sidelines sharing his passion and knowledge of line dancing with anyone eager to learn. His unique style of teaching has inspired confidence in those with "two left feet". As a result, he is currently one of the primary line dance instructors for the Toronto Wranglers and also teaches at various parties / socials, weddings along with being an invited guest instructor annually for the By-Town Boots Hoedown in Ottawa and Club Bolo's Sweetheart Stomp in Montreal.
